Hockey India has announced a 36-member core probable group for the Senior Men’s National Coaching Camp, set to take place at the Sports Authority of India (SAI) Centre in Bengaluru from April 20 to May 9.

The camp comes at a crucial time as India gears up for a packed international calendar, including the European leg of the FIH Pro League 2025–26, the World Cup, and the Asian Games. The focus will be on building tactical cohesion, improving fitness levels, and sharpening match-readiness through simulation sessions.

Balanced squad with experience and youth

The goalkeeping unit blends experience with emerging talent, featuring established names like Krishan Bahadur Pathak, Suraj Karkera, and Pawan, alongside youngsters Mohith Honnenahalli Shashikumar and Princedeep Singh.

In defence, captain Harmanpreet Singh leads a strong core that includes Amit Rohidas, Jarmanpreet Singh, Jugraj Singh, Sanjay, and Sumit. Promising players such as Poovanna Chandura Boby, Yashdeep Siwach, Nilam Sanjeep Xess, and Amandeep Lakra add depth to the backline.

The midfield unit is anchored by experienced campaigners Manpreet Singh, Hardik Singh, and Vivek Sagar Prasad.
